Tips For Teeth Whitening and Strong Grip

Houston Dentist  always recommend these things for your teeth :

Take a calcium-rich diet.
Calcium is essential for sharp, healthy teeth because it helps remove the enamel. Include a healthy
amount of dairy products, leafy greens and nuts in your diet.

Avoid enamel stained foods and drinks.
Things like dark soda, red wine, tomatoes, and coffee contain a mixture of acids and pigments that can
more or less reduce your enamel. Houston Dentist always say no to these type of products because of
their worst disadvantages.

Using hydrogen peroxide.
It is available in as those store-bought whitening products. This is because most products list 10%
hydrogen peroxide as their active ingredient. This is a more concentrated version of a brown bottle of
hydrogen peroxide that you can buy at the grocery store, which is a more dilute 3% solution.

Brush your teeth twice a day.
When you brush, do not hurry. Take about two minutes to work fully. Do not brush right after eating,
especially if you have something acidic such as grapes or soda. Don't forget to clean your tongue with
a toothbrush or tongue scraper, which irritates bacteria.
Use appropriate equipment, i.e. a soft-bristled toothbrush and a fluoride toothpaste, and that fits in your
mouth restfully. You can use any battery-operated or electric toothbrush, which may reduce plaque and
a mild form of gum disease compared to manual brushing.

Apply good technique.
Hold your toothbrush at a small angle, i.e. aim the bristles towards the area where your tooth meets
your gum. Gently brush with circular short back-and-forth motions. Brushing too hard or hard bristles
can hurt your gums.

Brush your teeth for two minutes.
Always remember to brush the inside and chewing surfaces of your teeth, as well as the outside of your
tongue.
Keep your devices clean. Always wash your toothbrush with water after brushing. Store your
toothbrush in a correct position and allow it to air-dry until reused.

Keep your tooth-brush separate.
Always keep your tooth-brush separate from other toothbrushes in the same holder to prevent cross-
contamination. Do not regularly cover toothbrushes or store them in closed containers, which can
encourage the growth of bacteria, mold and yeast.
Know when to replace your toothbrush. Invest on your head every three months in exchange for a new
toothbrush or your electric or battery-operated toothbrush - or soon if the hair falls or becomes irregular.

Consider a touch-up treatment.
Houston Dentist mostly recommend that depending on the whitening method used, you may need a
touch-up every 6 months or after one or two years. If you drink a lot of stains, you may need touch ups
more often.
